Randy Roos

Composer Randy Roos has had quite a diverse musical career. He first came to public notice as a member of the ‘70s art-rock group Orchestra Luna. He went on to create several CD releases on the Narada, JVC, and Pony Canyon labels, while remaining active as a performing guitarist. He began scoring fortelevision in 1988. His work includes fifteen seasons of the Scientific American Frontiers series, several episodes of the NOVA series and many others. He and his wife Kathy currently maintain Squam Sound, a music production facility in New Hampshire on Squam Lake (filming location of “On Golden Pond”).
