Dan Lyons

Daniel J. Lyons is a freelance television producer and cinematographer dedicated to the craft of documentary television and film. With more than 15 years experience, he has worked with a range of clients including National Geographic, PBS, Discovery Channel, TLC, the History Channel, Showtime, and the Sundance Channel. Daniel’s work has encompassed a great range of topics some scientific, others educational and political in scope, and from all over the world—from the frontlines of global warming on the great icecap of Greenland, to the ancient hunting grounds of early man in the plateaus of Kenya, to the oil fields of Prudhoe Bay in Northern Alaska. In his most recent project, Dan served as producer and Director of Photography for the Emmy award winning Vermont Public Television special Headline Vermont.
