David Berenson |
David Berenson is an award-winning film and video editor, with a long and successful career in the production of science and nature documentaries. He has been at Chedd-Angier since its formation. David trained as a film editor in educational film, and in 1974 moved to the WGBH-TV, Boston film department, where he edited multiple productions, including many episodes of the Nova series. He was one of the original staff members who started Chedd-Angier in 1979. At Chedd-Angier, while continuing as supervising editor David has taken on the challenges of project and financial management. Projects successfully undertaken include the design and installation of technically innovative video production facilities, and the introduction of some of the world’s first computer graphics systems. On the financial side, he has managed complex, multi-million dollar broadcast series, including some with multiple production partners and global reach. |
